About this tool

The image format converter switches between PNG, JPG and WebP, and also turns iPhone HEIC photos into the universal JPG or PNG. Plenty of Windows apps, websites and print shops don’t recognise HEIC — here a few clicks batch-convert them into a format that opens everywhere.

You can tune quality and convert in batches. When the target is JPG, since JPG has no transparency, transparent areas are automatically filled with a white matte instead of turning black. The whole conversion runs locally in your browser; photos are never uploaded, which suits private albums and ID images.

How to use

  1. Upload or drop the images to convert; multiple files (including HEIC) are supported.
  2. Pick the target format: PNG, JPG or WebP.
  3. Adjust output quality if needed (available for JPG/WebP to control file size).
  4. Click convert and download — save files one by one or together.

When to use it

  • Converting iPhone HEIC photos to JPG for use on computers and websites.
  • Turning PNG into smaller JPG / WebP to speed up web pages.
  • Switching to PNG / WebP output when you need transparency.
  • Standardising a batch of images to one format for easier upload or processing.

FAQ

Does converting HEIC to JPG lose quality?

There’s a tiny bit of recompression loss, but at the default high quality it’s essentially invisible — in exchange for compatibility with virtually every device and app.

Why did my transparent background turn white in JPG?

JPG has no transparency, so the tool fills transparent areas with white. To keep transparency, choose PNG or WebP as the target format.

How well is WebP supported?

Modern browsers and most apps support WebP, and it’s usually smaller than JPG/PNG — great for the web. For older software or some print channels, stick with JPG/PNG.
