About this tool
The image watermark tool stamps text or a logo onto your photos and document images. It can be a simple one-line credit, or a watermark tiled across the entire image, with full control over opacity, size, angle and position — protecting your work without ruining the picture.
Typical uses: marking artwork, contract screenshots or internal material with notes like "for X only" or "draft" before sharing, so it can’t be reused as-is. Everything runs locally in your browser and images are never uploaded, so batch-stamping stays private too.
How to use
- Upload one or more images you want to watermark.
- Choose a text watermark (type your text) or an image watermark (upload a logo / transparent PNG).
- Adjust opacity, font/size, rotation and position, or turn on tiling to cover the whole image.
- Preview, then batch-export and download the watermarked images.
When to use it
- Adding a credit watermark to photos, designs or illustrations before publishing.
- Marking contract, ID or invoice screenshots with "for X use only" before sending.
- Branding a batch of product or campaign images with one logo.
- Tiling a "DRAFT" mark across internal mock-ups and unfinalised documents.
FAQ
Can I watermark multiple images at once?
Yes. Upload several images and export them with the same watermark settings in one go — ideal for branding a whole batch.
What is tiled watermarking for?
Tiling repeats the watermark across the whole image, so even a cropped corner still carries the mark — stronger anti-theft protection, common for drafts and copyright.
Must the logo watermark be a transparent PNG?
A transparent PNG is recommended so the logo has no white box around it. A non-transparent image works if you lower opacity, but it won’t look as clean.
