About this tool
This audio trimmer lets you cut out the part of an audio file you need. After importing, it shows the waveform; drag the start/end handles to select what to keep, preview it, then export a WAV file. It’s commonly used to make ringtones, grab a voice snippet, or trim silence and noise from the head or tail.
Processing uses the browser’s Web Audio locally, so audio is never uploaded. WAV export is lossless and recognized by virtually every player and editor; convert to MP3 with another tool if you need it.

FAQ
Why export WAV instead of MP3?
WAV is lossless and needs no extra encoder library, so export is fast and quality is preserved. Almost everything plays WAV; if you must have MP3, convert the exported WAV with a format converter.
Is the audio uploaded?
No. Decoding, trimming and exporting all happen locally in your browser; the audio is not sent to any server.
Which audio formats are supported?
It depends on what your browser can decode; common MP3, WAV, M4A and OGG usually work. Some uncommon formats may not decode.
